2024...

... got off to a great start with our first ever Come and Sing Workshop in January proved popular and the feedback was great. ..

'The main thing ... from the workshop -feeling very much part of a good sound

Really enjoyed singing this repertoire with the group

Raising my game to sing with that direction and in that company

It was fun and stimulating to sing with a choir again

A choral sing first time since 1980-ish!'

And from the workshop now have three new members and interest from several others.

We will be having another Come and Sing Workshop in the Autumn but you don't have to wait until then if you're interested in singing with us. Find out more in About Us and the other pages here on the website, or email info@coquetdalechamberchoir.org.uk

We are still looking for new members in all four voice parts. For the type of music we perform, competent singers will be more comfortable with it, but experienced singers can also enjoy developing their own skills - most of us fall into this category. It has been very rewarding to 'grow' in competence and confidence with the challenges.

Our quest for new venues continues in 2024 with a concert in St Aidan's Church, Bamburgh - details opposite.

We look forward to seeing you at our events this year.

 Our next concert -

               Love, Land and Sea

John has designed a programme of music that       combines non-sacred with sacred pieces from the   Renaissance - Dowland, Bennet through the   centuries with Clara and Robert Schumann, Grieg,   Holst and Stravinsky - to modern pieces by   Barber and Whittaker, and including a piece by   Northumberland-based composer Fiona Lander.

The event starts at 6.30pm with refreshments in    the church before the concert at 7pm

We follow this concert with a programme of events throughout the Spring/Summer
